Services to Crew

Job Security & Career Planning:

The company is expanding and we are expecting a number of new ships under our management. We constantly require qualified applicants. Our seafarers enjoy a long term career planning. If you constantly demonstrate your abilities, a promotion to the next higher rank is almost guaranteed. Master or Chief Engineer positions are waiting to be filled by any of our qualified crew.
The company will actively support you for obtaining your higher license and will introduce you to a higher position during your shipboard assignment.

All Social Contributions paid by Employer:

The company pays both employer's and employee's share for the mandatory social contributions (SSS and PhilHealth) for selected principal on non-ITF ships. Thus, crew on those ships have no any deductions from your allotments.
For all other principals, the company deducts employee's share of social contribution from allotment account designated by the seafarer.

On-time Allotments:

We are very much aware that the Seafarer's family need to receive their monthly allotments on time. Crew can have unlimited number of allotment accounts at any bank in US Dollar, Euro or Philippine Peso (PHP) currency. We use Banco de Oro for allotment distribution.
Crew onboard can change their allotment amount every month, according to their family needs and balance of wages.
In order to avoid high wages balance or final balances, self-allotment should always be high. Minimum allotment amount should be 80% of basic wages in the local currency.
Due to this system, there is no "Special" Allotment or "Pay Onboard".

Allotment Inquiries:

Inquiries regarding allotments are promptly addressed by the company. Please take note that we can answer inquiries only to allottees assigned by the seafarer on the Allotment Form, thus proper identification is necessary, in order to protect our seafarer's hard earned money.

Emergency Cash Advance:

If families require emergency funds, the company will help. However, it is mandatory that the seafarer onboard has authorized the company to pay an emergency cash advance, and the authorization is routed through the approved channel, i.e. the Master or the company. The company will then verify the nature of the emrgency and reserves the right to approve or deny the request.

Cash Advance Onboard:

Crew can receive cash advance onboard, which should be used for shore leave only. We do not allow stocking of cash in cabin, or sending cash home through offsigning crew. Also we aim to reduce final wages paid out in cash onboard, as money is not insured during travel home.

Crew / Family Mail:

Families can drop their letters and packages (contents and size are subject to company's policy) at the office for free forwarding to the respective crew onboard our ships.

Crew E-Mail:

Families can send e-mail to the respective ship mailbox via our office. It will be forwarded to the ship for FREE.

Recommendation of a Relative:

Our company is always in need of good and qualified seafarers. For the reason of fair and equal treatment, your relative will be screened just like any other applicant. If he meets the criteria set by our company and our employers, we are very happy to offer a shipboard position.

FREE Training:

Whenever you have time please avail of free training courses offered by FAME Maritime Foundation. Some courses are free (P1), other courses can be sponsored by OWWA.
